Our Story
RAYACADEMY IAS is a civil services education and mentorship institution committed to making quality preparation accessible to aspiring public servants. We believe that academic excellence should not be limited by geography and that aspirants deserve access to experienced educators, structured learning, reliable study resources and meaningful personal guidance.
Established on 14 November 2020, RAYACADEMY operates under Arujogi Learning Private Limited. Our institution was founded with the vision of bringing high-quality professional education closer to aspirants, particularly those from Odisha, while building an academic platform with a national outlook.
With a focus on UPSC Civil Services Examination and Odisha Civil Services preparation, we seek to combine rigorous academic training with individual mentorship, examination-oriented resources and regular performance assessment.
Our belief is simple: with the right environment, guidance and consistent effort, aspirants from Odisha and across India can compete with confidence at the highest level.

Inspire 100 was conceived as RAYACADEMY's founding mission to contribute to the development of 100 civil servants through purposeful academic preparation and mentorship.
The initiative began with an ambitious five-year vision and reflects our commitment to identifying, guiding and nurturing individuals capable of making a meaningful contribution to public administration.
Beyond examination success, we aspire to encourage a generation of public leaders who approach governance with integrity, responsibility, social awareness and a genuine commitment to public service.
For us, civil services education is not merely about clearing an examination. It is also about preparing individuals to understand society and contribute to its progress.
A Message from the Founder
Why I Started RAYACADEMY
I have always believed that Odisha has enormous intellectual potential. Every year, thousands of capable young people aspire to enter the civil services, yet many face challenges in accessing structured preparation, experienced mentorship, relevant academic resources and a supportive learning environment.
I founded RAYACADEMY to help address this gap.
Civil services preparation is a demanding journey. It requires far more than reading textbooks or attending classes. Aspirants need clarity about the examination, an organised preparation strategy, regular evaluation, constructive feedback and the confidence to continue through difficulties.
My vision was to create an institution where aspirants could receive these essential forms of academic support without feeling compelled to depend entirely on coaching centres outside their home state.
At the same time, I wanted RAYACADEMY to look beyond a single examination or geographical boundary. Quality education, professional guidance and the development of responsible leadership should be available to aspirants wherever they choose to prepare.
The purpose of RAYACADEMY is therefore both academic and social: to help individuals realise their aspirations and encourage them to become agents of positive change.

Our Journey
Our Journey and Work on the Ground
The vision behind RAYACADEMY is informed by years of teaching, educational outreach and interaction with students from different backgrounds.
Before establishing RAYACADEMY, its founder, Sankar Ray, was associated with educational and academic initiatives, including service as Director of the North East Institute of Advanced Studies, Guwahati.
His earlier work involved student interaction, awareness programmes, academic discussions and educational outreach activities.
These experiences strengthened a central conviction: access to timely information, committed mentorship and appropriate academic opportunities can make a meaningful difference in a student's educational journey.
